Sloop The sloop is lightest ship deisgned for combat. Sloops are used as light support or commissionaire ships to complement a battle squadron or escort group. The Sloop's firepower is a bit more substantial than ships of the same class, such as the Barque or Pink and has fine maneuverability and good running characteristics.
