We are very proud to (belatedly) announce the release of Swashbucklers: Blue vs. Grey in the United States. The game was released on November 8th on PC and on November 23rd on PlayStation2.

Just to remind you, that Swashbucklers was developed by Akella. It is published in the US by 1C Company, distributed and marketed by Atari.

Check your favorite videogames store for a copy of Swashbucklers and make sure to grab one if you're lucky. Meanwhile, take a look at the game's cover.

27.08.2007. Swashbucklers to be published by Atari in the US

Atari has announced that it will distribute five new titles with 1C in the US this fall. Among those titles is Swashbucklers: Blue vs. Grey, epic and, as the title suggests, swashbuckling Action/RPG devoted to naval battles of the American Civil War. Swashbucklers will be released in November on both PC and PlayStation 2 platforms.

"1C has long been known for innovative gameplay and storylines," said Robert Stevenson, Atari's vice president of business development. "We're thrilled to kick-off our 1C relationship with such compelling and original titles."

24.04.2007. German release and reviews.
It's been quite a time with no updates here, but now we have some news for you.

First of all, the game was released on PC in Germany by Atari under the name of "North & South - Pirates" to a great success. PlayStation2 version is on the way.
