Abraham Gray |
|
|
|
Main character of
"Swashbucklers". Owner and captain of a
merchant ship, desperate adventurer, greedy for money. Has a secretive
personality. Avid drinker. Equally skilled with both cold-steel and
firearms. Suffers from split personality. Not much is know about his
past life – most probably, he was involved in numerous commercial
frauds, smuggling and slave-trade. Loyal to neither Union states nor the
Rebels, he's looking for his own profit, ready to join the side which
offers better pay. |

Nicolas
Sharp |
| |
|
Governor of
British colonial city of Nassau. Man of shady descent, he himself
claims to be born in a city of Highrock. Sharp's past is mysterious,
and while many weird and controversial rumours are circulating about
him, no one knows much about the Nassau governor. Passionate
Confederate, Sharp gathered the most evil and blood-thirsty
cut-throats, perverts and villains of the Caribbean around him.
Moreover, he will hire just about anyone who loves the smell of
money and doesn't care about morals or ethics. |

Rhett
Butler |
| |
|
Captain of
the US Navy, billeted in Havana and controlling the Union covert
operations from there. He is addicted to alcohol and spends more
time in local pubs than anywhere else. Staunch abolitionist, he is
faithful to the ideals of freedom and human equality. Hates slavery
and Confederate States with passion. Unscrupulous when it comes to
means of achieving his goals, and when it comes to choosing the
mercenaries as well. Latter gives the chance to Abraham, still being
scum of society, to become the Hero of the Civil War, by completing
the grand-scale operation for the US Navy. |
